| Jay Blankespoor |
Pastor Jay Blankespoor came to Boston Square Church in the fall of 2003.
Pastor Jay received his Masters of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary
where he received the John T. Galloway Prize in Expository Preaching.
He has also studied at Fuller Theological Seminary and Calvin Theological Seminary.
Pastor Jay is married to Pastor Elizabeth Vander Haagen and they expect
their first child this July.
Pastor Jay plays Ultimate Frisbee every week,
attempts to get out into God’s Creation whenever possible,
and has recently taken up knitting.
“I desire Boston Square Church and its neighborhood to
grow in our knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and his unfailing love for us.
I truly want us to be amazed at God’s splendor, to be astounded at
the power of the Holy Spirit, and to be surprised by what God
accomplishes through us. I want us to find comfort and assurance
in the promises that God makes to us and to find healing where
there is brokenness. My hope is that we are faithful in fulfilling
the call God has given us here and now to be a source
of light in the Boston Square neighborhood.”

| Elizabeth Vander Haagen |

Pastor Elizabeth Vander Haagen came to Boston Square Church in the spring of 2006.
Pastor Elizabeth received her Masters of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
She has also studied at Calvin Theological Seminary and is presently
enrolled in the Spiritual Direction Practicum with the Grand Rapids Dominicans.
Pastor Elizabeth is married to Pastor Jay and they expect their first child this July.
Pastor Elizabeth is an avid reader, and also enjoys knitting and the outdoors.
